Today it is snowing alot!!! So far at 2:30 we have over 5 inches of snow!!! I think most or all the schools in Maine are closed today, the snow started at about 8:30 this morning, and should stop at about 7am tomorrow! Today I plan to go sledding with Shannon, and maybe a friend of mine.

Christmas Tree and Snow

December 2nd, 2009

Yesterday, Shannon, Colleen and I put up our Christmas tree. It already has about 10 gifts under it. Now we have a Christmas tree, it’s December, and we have gifts under the tree, but we do not have snow!!!

We live in Maine, we should already have a foot of snow! Some people think otherwise and think we should have snow Christmas Eve, Christmas and the day after Christmas. I really want to have a snowball fights, go snowboarding, shovel the driveway with Shannon… which turns in to a snow shovel fight… :-)

As you can tell I would like it to snow. I have been praying for snow, and God answered my prayers with a chance of snow this weekend!!! Lastly I found a bucket that was full of water is now full with almost solid ice. :-)

Soccer, Chess, Catan, Airsoft, and Abbeyster

December 1st, 2009

I did not play summer soccer this year because of my sprained ankle, but I did play fall soccer (I was on JV). Our team did not do very well, we lost most of our games. I was the fastest player on the JV team and the youngest, I played mid-field and defense. I was not the most skilled player on the team but my speed really helped. I also had foot injuries, and a little bit of shin splints. I had a really fun year of soccer except the part of not winning a lot of games, and some of my team me swore alot, but then coach made a rule that if you swore then you would run a lap and the next person who swore had to run double. Last but not least, my coach plays chess! We were pretty evenly matched, but I beat him in a close game. :-)

I have been playing chess alot recently, alot of it is online and sometimes with people face to face. I love chess and if you want to play chess, I play on Facebook, Chessmaniac.com, and Chess.com, just comment on this and I will try and play you. ;-)

We now have the board game Catan. Catan is a very fun strategy game, it has some random chance to it, but it is very fun!

Richard, my friend, now has an airsoft machine gun, an airsoft Uzi, an airsoft shotgun and two airsoft pistols (I have an airsoft sniper, an airsoft shotgun, and two airsoft pistols). He lives in Greene, so that makes him my closest friend who plays airsoft. I play with him but he does not like my sniper because it is so accurate and long ranged I beat him almost very time. Because of that when the girls have friends over and Richard is over we try and get the girls to play, usually they say no, but when we do it is REALLY fun!

In case you did not know Abbey is now at The King’s College in New York City. I really miss Abbey. :-( But we just saw her for Thanksgiving! :-) And she will be coming home for Christmas break! :-D

Oh, and I really want it to snow!!!

Sniper!

June 20th, 2009

June 9th was Colleen’s and my birthday. For our birthday we had french toast at breakfast, and at lunch we had Boston Cream Cake. That was really yummy, but I was not feeling very good that day. I had a headache, a cold, allergies, and a small stomachache. We opened presents from our family as well. I was given art pens, gummy bears :-) , a $15 gift card to the ITunes, some tortillas/stumps for art, an airsoft vest, airsoft ammo, and an airsoft sniper! The sniper was my ‘big gift’. Colleen’s ‘big gift’ was a really cool camera. The sniper has a speed of 300 feet per second! It is really accurate and has a flashlight for night battles! I can’t wait to have someone over who plays airsoft!

On the 10th Tim and Angie came over, Angie gave Colleen perfume, and Tim gave me charcoal pencils, and razors for shaving!

THANK YOU EVERONE!!!

Sprained

June 15th, 2009

Last Thursday I was over at the Richards’ house. We were playing baseball. A lot of the time when I am playing baseball at the Richards’ house I get hurt, this time I forgot my mouth guard (Mom wants me to wear it). For about an hour I did not hurt myself, but I was the only outfielder and I was standing by the house, so that if the ball was hit over there I could stop it. Tucker, probably one of the biggest hitter there, hit a pop-up to opposite side of the field that I was on. I wanted to get him out, so I sprinted at it. That was a bad idea. Their yard is not level. Well, I was running up hill and I was just about to catch the ball, but my ankle suddenly really hurt. So I hobbled after the ball thinking that I just rolled my ankle. Tucker made it home because the ball went in a bush. I could not do much for the rest of the visit.

It turns out that when trying to catch the pop-up I sprained my ankle… :-(

On Saturday I had a baseball game. My ankle still hurt, but I could walk on the side, but Mom said that is bad for me, so I had to use a crutch. I could not play that game. Our team won 8-6 though! Later that day there was a Teenpact get together. That stunk because almost everyone there plays Ultimate Firzbe, which is really fun. I could not play. We went to some of the forts at Fort Williams(that is where the get together was). I did that but I was the slowest. After looking at the forts we went and played soccer! I tried playing goalie, but Dad said no.

After the get together, Aunt Debbie came over to our RV and we had supper with a few Teenpacters and Aunt Debbie.

On Sunday, we went to the Hollen’s church! That was fun to hang out with them for awhile! But they were going to someone’s house so we could not visit at one another’s houses.

Today I woke up with a really sore spot on my foot because I forgot to take off the tape that was helping with support, it put pressure on my foot all night, and now it is pretty much a bad bruise, but my ankle is feeling better!!!

Levitation!

June 10th, 2009

Did you know I can levitate? I can do only a few times a day though. You have to concentrate real hard.

Like this!

Then I think “I can do it, I can do it, I can do it…” then smile at the camera!

Tada!

S.M.A.S.H. is Over…

June 8th, 2009

This past week/weekend I was part of stage crew for Love’s Labors Lost. Shannon was the main stage crew, I helped her with a large bench for the last scene. There were not very many set changes so I got to watch most of the play. I helped with building the stage, but not much because I was busy with sports.

Us, Clarke kids went to the cast party. It was fun, but I don’t like to dance, unlike a lot of people there. Besides the dancing, the cast party was really fun!

13′ 4″

June 4th, 2009

Yesterday was track finals! All the schools were there. After warm ups, I did my long jumps. The main problem was that my steps were off, because the guy I asked to count them did not hear me when I asked him too. My steps were way off, so the first jump I used my left foot and only got 10′ 3″, my next jump my steps were still off, I faulted that time. My last jump I did I just guessed about where to start from. I guess I guessed well because I used my left foot, and got 13′ 4″! That is my new record!

My next event was the 400 meter run, I was in the second heat. I won my heat with 1 minute 6 seconds! The record that day was by Mt. Ararat, with 56 seconds, our teams best was 57 seconds.

My last event was the 4×4oo relay! Mt. Ararat was winning, they had a very fast starter. We were in second, but when I went I almost caught up with Mt. Ararat, I handed the baton to Ben, he stayed a little behind Mt. Ararat, but did not pass him. Ben gave it to Patrick, He passed Mt. Ararat, and lapped Oxford Hills! So we won that race!

I am now done track. Baseball is not done though. Soon I might be doing Summer Soccer!

Love’s Labor’s Lost, Chess, and Track!

June 3rd, 2009

This week Abbey is in a play called Love’s Labors Lost, by William Shakespeare. I do not know much about it, but from what I saw it looks funny! Shannon, Colleen and I might be stage crew. We are busy with sports, so that is why we ‘might’ do stage crew. The performances are tonight at 6:30 pm, tomorrow at 6:30 pm, Friday at 6:30 pm, and Saturday at 2:00 pm at 257 Carlton Pond Rd, East Winthrop .

I am playing most of my chess online right now, I am playing on Facebook, which I have about 5 games going at once. I am playing some chess on Chessmaniac.com, I have about 8 games going on there right now.

Today is finals for track, I am kinda nervous and excited. I am doing the long jump, 400m, and 4×400m relay.

Track!

June 2nd, 2009

Yesterday I had a track practice, my endurance did go down some, my shins are a bit better though. For practice we did our lap, next we did our warm ups, then went to our running events. I was in the four hundred, coach said all four hundred runners have to sprint 200 meters, then jog 200 meters, four times in a row. That was a lot of sprinting. After that we had to go to our field events. I have the long jump, I was doing that and I think I jumped about 12 1/2 feet (I was guessing). That was a fun, but hard practice.

I watched Shannon’s game after practice, her team won!
